Glitter has contact with a number of shipping lines and agents allowing us to start
processing your documents starting from the Bill of Loading, vessel status, departure
and arrival notification and container reimbursements.

Land Transportation

Our company works in partnership with highly qualified transport associations in
Ethiopia. This gives our customers one point of contact regarding their shipments. We
will move your cargo from port to customs compounds, complete the necessary
inspection process on behalf of our customer, and then handle transportation of goods
to your preferred location.
In addition, we have a growing fleet of trucks which we will use to move your highly
sensitive cargo.

Customs Clearing

Our company, Glitter Trading and Logistics PLC, is registered as a Certified Customs
Clearing Agent here in Ethiopia. Over the years, we have prepared an exhaustive list
of documents needed, categorized by the nature of shipments and company
classifications, there by allowing us to collect the relevant documents needed for the
customs clearing process. This saves our customers valuable time and avoids
unnecessary expenses arising from demurrage.
The Ethiopian Customs and Revenues Authority has licensed our company to use the
ASICUDA++ system at our office premises, which allows our customs officers to
complete the declaration of goods in a very short period of time.
Once we confirm acceptance of declaration from the relevant authorized customs
office, we initiate moving your cargo from port to the pre-stated customs compound.
Using this efficient technique, we have successfully cleared and transported more than
150 imported containers on behalf of USAID/Ethiopia to 12 destinations in various
cities in Ethiopia. In addition, our data shows an average of 300 containers are
processed for export through our company per year.

Warehousing / Cargo Handling

Our company has completed construction of a number of warehouses in and around
Addis Ababa. Your precious cargo is always in a safe and convenient place for timely
access.

Import and Export Facilities

We have experience with a range of import documents including furniture, used cars,
medical equipment, edible products, ceramics and other building materials. We are
equipped and qualified to handle any type of goods you need to import. Your wish is
our command.
Our customers have also enjoyed our services in the export sector. We have
successfully completed export of spices, sesame, pulses, coffee, vegetable and fruits.

Farming

Our company has invested a substantial portion of our capital in cash and capital
crops, including spices, sesame, pulses, coffee, vegetable and fruit farms.
We also have chicken and animal fattening farm both for local and foreign markets.

Consultancy

We will provide consultancy services in our area of expertise, mainly customs
clearance, insurance, freight forwarding and transportation.
